Malawi cane furniture is sustainably made from Malawi bamboo and the body then woven with water reeds.  All the material  used to make the furniture is hand harvested using sustainable techniques by keeping the environment intact.  The furniture has been handmade using centuries old traditional weaving methods passed down for generations. 

This is a unique piece of art which will add exotic personality to any modern or traditional interior.  The intricate details of each handwoven piece is a great conversation piece and will elevate your design space.  No two pieces are alike which makes each piece unique.  A great addition to your indoor or outdoor space.

We work directly with local artisans in rural villages of Malawi.  One chair takes up to 15 days to complete, the Love seat takes over 30 days and the table over 6 days.  

The chair and loveseat is an oversize item and ships via freight carrier.
